La Chatterie du Monde à l’Envers grew from a deep affection for the Ragdoll: its gentleness, trust and unique way of forming a bond.
Our cats share our daily life. The kittens are born and raised in the heart of our home, with a stable routine, regular human company and all the attention they need.
Our story — It all began with Miwa
It had to be her,
and no other.
Miwa came into my life in 2016. When I first discovered her, one simple detail made the encounter even more memorable: she was born on 9 March, the very same day as me — not the same year, of course.
That coincidence stayed with me and strengthened my immediate feeling that I had found the one I was looking for. It had to be her, and no other.
2018
Building a professional foundation
The ACACED,

After this first experience with Miwa, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and give my approach a stronger professional foundation. In 2018, I obtained the French ACACED qualification for cats, a natural next step in my journey as a breeder.
Living with a Ragdoll
Gentleness discovered day after day.
Living with Miwa is how I truly discovered the Ragdoll—not through a list of traits, but through the small moments of everyday life: her calm nature, closeness to people, patience and natural place within family life.
She showed me how a cat could be present without ever imposing, gentle without fading into the background, and close while retaining a personality of her own.
A family memory
Miwa’s

When one of my children was still very young, natural curiosity sometimes led to clumsy gestures. On occasion, he would pick Miwa up and put part of her head in his mouth.
What always stayed with me was her reaction: no claws, no swipe and no aggression. Miwa would simply wait to be released… then move away quickly, with all the composure she could muster.

Another memory marks the next chapter of this story: Miwa meeting Octavia, who would become my second Ragdoll. Miwa was no longer the only Ragdoll in the family.

Growing up at the heart
of the family.
From Miwa and her first kittens to Octavia’s arrival, the story developed gradually and shaped my vision for the cattery. Today, our kittens grow up with us, surrounded by people and everyday family life.
Trust, balance and socialisation are central to the way I raise them. Family life gives them helpful experiences and a stable environment, while always respecting that every kitten has its own personality and develops at its own pace.
